| Global Compact The World Forum is member of United Nations Global Compact Initiative. Global Compact was launched in 2000 by the former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. It offers businesses, the academic world and the social mid-field a platform to collectively find innovative and practical solutions for the problems involved in globalisation. In the Netherlands, just over thirty companies and organisations have joined the initiative; the World Forum is the only conference centre in this group. Since its inception, over two thousand companies worldwide have pledged their commitment to the principles of Global Compact. CSR Nederlands The World Forum has joined CSR Netherlands, a foundation which promotes corporate social responsibility (CSR). It is funded by the Dutch government, and has a focus on small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs). | ![]() |

Climate Neutral Group The World Forum cooperate with the Climate Neutral Group. During the organisation of an event we use energy and cause the emission of carbondioxide. The World Forum stimulates her clients to be environmentally aware during these events. Through this calculatemodule we offer the possibility to calculate and counterbalance this emission. This concept has come about in cooperation with Climate Neutral Group, a leading organisation which works towards a climate-friendly world. | |
Klimaatfonds Den Haag The Klimaatfonds Den Haag is an initiative of the municipality of The Hague and the Platform Duurzaam Den Haag. The foundation aims to promote climate-friendly working and living in The Hague and its surroundings. The Klimaatfonds helps by providing funds for local projects aimed at reducing CO2-emissions. It is our ambition to trasform The Hague into a climate-neutral city by the year 2050.
